Tripawd Kizaris Gets Help with Amputation Surgery
Kizaris, a beloved pet, faced a traumatic experience when she was attacked by another dog as a puppy. Her bones were allowed to heal naturally, but unfortunately, they never healed properly. The bones in her arm are now less dense than her other bones, causing her constant pain and discomfort. This situation has been difficult for both of us.
Recently, I was hit by a car, resulting in serious injuries that have left me in the process of recovery. This accident has significantly impacted my ability to find a job and secure a stable income. Consequently, providing the necessary care for Kizaris has become increasingly challenging.
Receiving this grant is a tremendous relief. It enables us to afford the specialized care Kizaris needs to manage her pain and improve her quality of life. With the grant, we could use it for more physical therapy sessions and other forms of treatment that would offer her much-needed comfort and aid her recovery process.
In addition to helping Kizaris, the grant also provides me with peace of mind, knowing that I can provide for my pet despite my current financial struggles. This support makes a significant difference in our lives during this difficult time.
The only thing I would add is that the Tripawds community website has been a tremendous amount of help when it comes to information. I would have been totally lost without it.
