This week, our community lost a young warrior, Tripawd Rayven from New Mexico. We are so honored by the generosity of her mom and our friends at Komfy K9 Pet Beds. They joined forces to make a generous donation to the Tripawds Foundation. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
Tripawd Rayven is Deeply Missed, and Never Forgotten
Deep in her grief of losing her sweet girl, Rayven’s mom Angela shared a note with Komfy K9:
“I just wanted to let you know that the bed I’ve been waiting on for my big girl Rayven is no longer needed. I had to let her go last night.
The lymph node that was removed with her leg amputation grew back and the cancer metastasized to her lungs, and my girl declined fast. Within a week and a half and then getting it confirmed last Monday she went down hill fast, and I promised her I wouldn’t let her suffer and I would let her go with dignity.
It was the hardest choice I had to make … 💔 I loved her so much.
I am so sorry. You did everything for her that you could and she will always be with you. RIP Rayven.. why is it so hard to lose these babies….
Thank you so much. I miss her so much. She left a big void. She was my big sweet goofy girl. I’ve lost other fur babies before and it’s been devastating but losing Rayven hit different, the poison is different. 💔
