Max Begins His Journey to Becoming a Three-Legged Therapy Dog
Here is Max’s application story, as told by his mom Jean.
Max was hit by a car on October 10 and has been in two cast because one leg is completely degloved and the other the ligaments and tendons were severely injured.
He’s now to the point where he can have his amputation and should get it soon so he does not become septic. We want to get them in as soon as possible.
He has to go in every other day for bandage and cast Changes. The surgery for the amputation is estimated to cost quite a bit.
Max could really use your help And we would be forever grateful.
The long-term goal is to have Max become a therapy dog and work with children and service men that are amputees as his personality is perfect for it.
