Tri-kitty Titi on the Road to a Happy, Pain-Free Life

Here is her application story as told by Titi‘s mom Milea.

My cat needs a leg amputation due to a severe humerus fracture that cannot heal properly with splinting or conservative treatment. After veterinary examination and imaging, my veterinarian determined that amputation is medically necessary to relieve her pain and prevent further complications such as infection, chronic suffering, or loss of mobility.

Without this surgery, her quality of life will continue to decline. Aside from this injury, she is otherwise healthy and has a strong prognosis for adapting well and living a full, comfortable life after amputation.

This injury occurred suddenly and unexpectedly and has created an immediate financial hardship. The cost of diagnostics, ongoing pain management, and the recommended amputation surgery is more than I am able to afford on my own despite working and actively trying to find solutions.

I am fully committed to her care and have been applying for assistance and working with my veterinary clinic to make this surgery possible as quickly as possible. The ASAP grant would make a critical difference in my ability to move forward with her amputation without further delay.

Financial assistance would help cover the surgical costs so she can receive the urgent care she needs and no longer live in pain. This support would also reduce the immediate financial strain, allowing me to focus on her recovery, follow-up appointments, and ensuring she has a safe and comfortable environment during rehabilitation.

My cat is a deeply loved member of my family, not just a pet. With this surgery, she has an excellent chance of adapting well and continuing to live a happy, pain-free life.

Any assistance provided through the ASAP grant would directly impact her ability to receive life-saving care and would mean everything to us during this incredibly difficult time.
