Tripawd Sig on the Path to a Pain-Free, Happy Life
Here is her application story as told by Sig’s mom Johanna.
We were told recently our dog, sig, will be in lifelong pain until we amputate her leg. She kept injuring it after we took her in from a friend of the family who is in the army and was unable to take her with him when stationed out of state.
He didn’t know she had contracted valley fever after being attacked by another dog. Thankfully, she was young and strong and fought it off. However, it totally destroyed her bone and muscle in her right front leg first and she is suffering.
The cost of care has quickly added up and created financial strain.
She is the sweetest little pitty in the whole world. When we took her in she immediately became part of our family. My boys bonded with her and my miniature dachshund became her sister and her best friend.
We don’t remember life without her and she truely has completed our family. We just want her to be out of pain and in the road to recovery.
This grant would really help us to much to relieve the financial burden on our little family and it would truely be a Christmas miracle.
