Last week, 16 year old Tripawds Angel Tucker crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This strong-willed and fun-loving guy shared the home and the hearts of Linda and Steve McLuckie for most of his life.
Lin shared her Tucker story in a blog not too long ago. She loved him fiercely, and is suffering the loss of him, deeply.
Thank You Tucker, for allowing me to help you in these last few years, you are a marvel of a dog with a spirit as big as the sky.
With Love

What a glorious life filled with love Tucker lived! To have lived 16 years is awesome but is so hard when you loose them as they’ve been a part of your life for so long it leaves such a huge void. I’m so sorry for your loss Linda & Steven I too lost my almost 17 year old Ollie in April so I know how hard it is for you right now. You have given such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful Tucker. Thank you for sharing your Tucker with us! Your love for him speaks volumes. Fly free Tucker you’ve earned those Angel wings! May your hearts be able to heal knowing he’s at the bridge with all our Angels and the many precious memories you carry in your heart forever.

I feel so sad for the loss of this wonderful, wonderful dog. I read your blog recently and watched your film and basically just fell in love with Tucker (who wouldn’t!). What a fabulous life you gave him. What a great character you allowed him to be. (I love the fact he was so strong-willed and stubborn) My heart absolutely goes out to you. Your love for him, the strength and warmth of your relationship was something I found tremendously moving and inspiring. Thank you for sharing Tucker with us. Run free you magnificent, beautiful boy!
Love Meg, Clare, Elsie, and the spirit of Billie too xxxx
Oh sweet Tucker, sweet adorable Tucker. I’m so sorry to hear you needed to head to the Bridge. I know you feel good through jumping out of earth clothes that no longer serve you.
These pictures, the video…WOW! What a well loved doggy who lived life to the fullest…and on Tucker’s terms too!!
Yes, what we wouldn’t all give to have our pups for so many blissful hears chock full of happy memories. But it also means the void after all those years is devastating. It seems like it will never end. We can only assure you that, slowly but surely, the happier memories will push the sadness further in the background. More and more you will eventually feel Tucker nestled all comfy in a corner of your heart.
Just as you were privileged to jave Tucker in yiur life, he felt just as privileged to have you in his!! In fact, I think I hear him now telling everyone at the Bridge, “I had the best humans ever and the best time ever!”
This amazing Soul will always be remembered here! Tucker is our Hero, kur Champion!
Do come back and share more when you can. Tucker is very special to us.
With love
