Amputation for Tripawd Chihuahua Lyra
New Tripawd Chihuahua Lyra dislocated her shoulder completely a few weeks ago due to unknown causes. I have 5 children and a few other fur babies so I am not sure the exact cause of it. She is 14 and my little grandma.
With the 5 kids right now and my daughter’s birthday coming up I am struggling finance wise. The credit cards have gotten on top of us and I have recently started working again after graduating with my social work degree but have not been able to create a savings just yet. Letting Lyra go was not an option because she is my first original baby and she is my home.
The cost of an orthopedic surgery as well as the recovery time for Lyra was also not an option. With her age it was recommended to do the amputation so she can heal faster and get back to her old self. Lyra is my original love before all of my kids and husband and she has been there for me through every step of my adult life since I was 19. It’s my turn to be there for her and why I am seeking help with getting her surgery.
