ASAP Grant Helps Canine Cancer Hero Coco
I currently have put the balance of Coco’s surgery on my credit card, my friends and family helped me raise $880. I have a few thousand left in my savings that has gone towards the surgery but the remaining balance is being carried over on my credit card until I can pay it off. Assistance would go such a long way for me.
Coco has a very long journey to recovery, I am driving her 20 hours round trip to Cincinnati on Tuesday to get the Yale Vaccine that has shown great promise with other similar cases. I will then need to look into wheelchairs and physical therapy to make sure she has the absolute best quality of life available to her.
Coco has been my lifeline for the last 10 years of life after I rescued her from Ohio. She has seen me through my darkest moments and been there to celebrate my best days. I absolutely owe it to her to exhaust every possible treatment and option so long as she shows the will to fight and wants to be around. I’ve never met a more resilient and kind natured dog. I know at some point, she will leave this earth and I know my life has been forever better because she chose to spend her life with me.
