Thankful for Brave Tripawd Heidi, the Long-Term Cancer Survivor Spreading Hope and Joy!

When two fast-growing nodules appeared on her paw, Heidi’s parents Burt and Jean faced a heartbreaking choice. Amputation was the only way to stop the cancer from spreading. And thanks to the information they found through Tripawds, they moved forward with surgery to help their beautiful Aussie adjust, beat cancer, and keep thriving.

Now 11 years old, Heidi is still living life to the fullest, three years after amputation surgery!

Heidi is proof that life after amputation can still be full of joy

Through the Wagner Family Giving Fund, Heidi’s humans Burt and Jean made a very generous donation to help other pet parents afford treatment and find hope.

Heidi, Jean, and Burt, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, and for showing this community that anything is possible after a cancer diagnosis. Heidi is hope on three paws!
