ASAP Grant Helps Tripawd Matilda Recover and Thrive
Here is her application story as told by Matilda’s mom Olivia.
In late June, I discovered a lump on my cat Matilda’s left hind leg. After three separate vet visits (including diagnostics, a fine needle aspiration, and a sedated biopsy) we learned the mass was a malignant soft tissue sarcoma.

The only way to fully remove it was through amputation of the leg. Two weeks later Matilda underwent the surgery.
In spite of these challenges, Matilda has been healing successfully and with her characteristic curiosity.
She is quickly coming back to her old self and finding inventive ways to saunter around her favorite couch stoops and flower gardens.

I’m boundlessly thankful that the surgery was able to extend the life of my closest friend, and hearing about the possibility of financial support from your ASAP fund has been a source of hope since making it to the other side of this difficult process.
Matilda and I are deeply grateful for the information and support you offer our special three-legged community, and we hope you’ll consider our application.
