The Tripawds Dog Art Auction and generous donors make it possible for us to help take away some of the sadness away from a pet cancer diagnosis.
Daphne is one lucky kitty who got a free virtual gift basket of goodies!
Tripawd Daphne’s journey with soft tissue sarcoma on her right back leg hasn’t been easy, but she’s taking it in stride with help from the Tripawds community.
Her family is deeply grateful for your generosity, providing a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package to brighten her days and support her healing.

How old is your Tripawd?
Daphne is 4 years old.
When and why did your Tripawd lose a leg?
Daphne had her right back leg amputated July 29, 2025, to remove a soft tissue sarcoma.
What’s your pet’s personality like? What are some of your Tripawd’s favorite things to do?
Daphne is a determined and loving cat. She is very smart and will successfully eat from puzzle feeders, open mostly closed doors, and navigate around obstacles.
She loves watching birds and really likes running for toy springs (we play fetch with them).
She is bold and loves attention – even post operation, she would find ways to sit on top of my computer or book so I would pet her.
Daphne is very food motivated (she especially loves Churus), She is also quite cuddly — every evening she lays on my chest as I get ready to go to sleep.

Amputee pets with cancer in the U.S. or Canada can apply to receive a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package. Two Tripawds are selected each month on a first-come, first-served basis. The lucky recipients get a virtual basket of goodies worth about $175!
