That Pet Place and Zukes Treats Support The Tripawds Foundation
During their Pet Cancer Awareness Month campaign, That Pet Place in Lancaster, PA raised more than $3,000 for the Tripawds Foundation!
Please help us thank That Fish Place – That Pet Place for their generous fundraising efforts, and Zukes for also contributing a portion of their healthy pet treat sales at the store during the month of May.
These funds will help us continue to provide helpful information and resources to pet parents coping with a cancer diagnosis and/or amputation for their beloved cats and dogs.
The Tripawds Foundation will be using some of the proceeds to produce more vet patient outreach materials so we can help even more amputee pets and their people. Stay tuned for details about when these will be available for free distribution to vet clinics, animal shelters and individuals wishing to help us spread the word about quality of life for pets after amputation.
Team Tripawds Visits That Pet Place
On their way to the East Coast Tri-Pawty in Virginia, Jim, Rene and Wyatt Ray stopped by That Fish Place – That Pet Place in Lancaster, PA to thank them for their support of the Tripawds Foundation.
With more than a week left in the campaign, what they saw blew them away…
Walls of the huge pet store were plastered with pet cancer awareness ribbons.
Lots of ribbons.
And, Tripawds member Bud and his mom were there to greet them along with the store owners and many members of the very friendly staff.
During the entire month of May, That Pet Place gave their customers the chance to support the Tripawds Foundation by purchasing a ribbon with a donation. All proceeds will help us continue to offer and grow services that help pet parents facing a cancer diagnosis and amputation for their dogs or cats. Programs include:
- Free Blogs, Forums & Resources
- Toll Free Helpline
- Vet Patient Outreach Materials
- And More to Come!

We don’t have “The Pet Place” store in my area, but I do jave access to Zuke products and the dogs and I are big fans!! Wyatt Ray, you are a very good boy not to reach up and grab every single bag of Zuke treats!
It just has me grinning ear to ear looking at all those ribbons!!! To all the employees, to all the contributors, those of us on this journey thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The Tripawds Site has been an absolute lifeline to us! Without wuestion, this site has helped us extend the lives of our dogs and cats when, in some cases, immediate euthanasia was given as the only option. The information here is cutting-edge and the success stories give hope far beyond what “statistics” can do.
