This is Wubbsie showing off her healed wound. Wubbsie’s front leg was amputated after a persistent infection could not be controlled. Soon after the amputation the wound became infected with candida and this came back 3 months later and opened it up. A 2 month course of antifungal meds has hopefully allowed the wound to fully heal once and for all. She loves life and plays like a kitten.
am lucky enough to be friends with Wubbsie’s family and she has the best and most loving home. They coped so well with the long-drawn-out and stressful treatment and recuperation and she is the happiest little kitty you can imagine.
Happy to hear Wubsie has recovered and is loving life. She’s a very pretty kitty.
