Bacon was diagnosed with osteosarcoma November 30, 2015. He prevailed through a left front amputation and chemotherapy. On June 17, 2016 Bacon crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We are thankful to the Tripawds community for helping us through.
Bacon is missed every second of everyday. Words cannot describe how special he was. He brought joy to our lives in innumerable ways.
We love and miss you Bac-a-boo.
Oh gosh, I had not seen where Bacon headed ro the Bridge after a BRILLIANT bonus time of over six months (over three years in human terms)! For whatever reason, I think a lot of us missed it. Please know that we would jave gathered around you (thru cyberspace) and hugged you, cried with you AND celebrated the delightful BAC A BOO!!!
And it’s NEVER too late ro celebrate that veey special boy with the permanent smile on that sweet mug of his!
There’s something so enduring about a Senior Golden…but a Senior Tripawd Golden….CUTENESS ALERT!!! 🙂 A dog like Bacon jumps into your heart and never leaves! 🙂
I knkw you still grieve. I know the void, especially at first, seemed unbearable. I also know Bacon left you with thousands of happy memories to help your heart heal. I also know when Bacon got to the Bridge, he bragged to everyone that he had THE best time EVER with you as his humans!! 🙂 He got to know what love and joy felt like!
Thank you for this lovely tribute to this very, special Soul named Bacon.
Love and hugs
