In memory of Applesauce, my beautiful golden oldie. My heart, my warrior, my teacher.
Applesauce defeated the odds after not only an osteosarcoma diagnosis but also a malignant melanoma diagnosis at the same time. An alternative treatment plan with her vet gave her 22 months of living her best life, of which 18 months of those were as a Tripawd. She had so much tenacity and will to live – and it’s on me to carry her legacy forward – not only as to how I live my life but to share our experience with others.
She lived her best life and made me a better human having had her in my world for her earthly visit.
