If you’ve been around here a while, you know that Team WAG is a big supporter of Tripawds Foundation. Led by Amy Moses on behalf of her heart-dog Wrigley, the generous spirit of helping Tripawds runs strong in the whole Moses family. And now, Amy’s young niece Avi’s Tripawds fundraisers are raising helping amputee pets too!
Avi’s Fundraiser Helps Save Lives with Love, Hot Cocoa, and Hand Crafted Earrings
We recently received a generous donation from not one, but TWO Tripawds fundraising events created by Avi Moses. Her aunt Amy wrote to tell us more:
“For months, during our family book club (consisting of Mom, Dad, my sister Julie, and my 9-year-old niece Avi), Avi has been discussing holding a hot cocoa stand over Christmas and using it as a fundraiser for Tripawds! She also makes earrings and wanted to sell those,” wrote Amy. She sent Avi’s letter to us which says:
December 23, 2023.
Dear Tripawds Foundation,
I love dogs! I love three-legged dogs, too! I got the money for you by selling hot chocolate and earrings to a few people. I gave the money to you because again, I love dogs (and lots of other animals!). My aunt has had 2 Tripawds in her life. Her first dog Wrigley had cancer. Her current dog, Hope, was either hit by a car or kicked by a horse.
I also don’t want animals to die because it’s too expensive to take care of them.

“We held the fundraiser yesterday,” said Amy, “and I am thrilled to report that we raised $60.50 for the Tripawds Foundation!”

“This was completely Avi’s idea – she dreamed this up and we helped her execute it. She was so passionate about wanting to help Tripawds! Whenever people were giving her a tip, she would ask if they wanted to donate it to Tripawds!”
What an incredible way to start the year by learning about Avi’s Tripawds fundraisers and the donations she generated. Spirit Wrigley is so proud of her, and we are too!
