Meet Tripawd Gretchen, Our Lucky Kaiserin Care Package Winner!
Gretchen, a four-year-old Shepherd, recently received a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package made pawsible by the Tripawds community.
After being diagnosed with bone cancer in December and undergoing surgery shortly thereafter, Gretchen is now home and beginning her recovery.
Her family is deeply grateful for the comfort and support the care package has provided as they adjust to their new normal and help Gretchen regain strength during this early stage of healing.

How old is your Tripawd?
Gretchen in a sweet 4 year old Shepherd that acts so much like a puppy still.
When and why did your Tripawd lose a leg?
We found out on 12/12 that she had bone cancer, went for a second opinion on 12/17 and she was in for surgery by 12/18. We are still in recovery and we are going on being home for day 3 and working on walking and figuring out our new norm.
What’s your pet’s personality like? What are some of your Tripawd’s favorite things to do?
She loves water and anytime she is near it, she needs to bite it or jump into it. Very friendly, fun loving, sweet.

Amputee pets with cancer in the U.S. or Canada can apply to receive a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package.
Two Tripawds are selected each month on a first-come, first-served basis. The lucky recipients get a virtual basket of goodies worth about $175!
