2019 Fundraising Results Explained
With less than 24 hours left in the year, it’s looking like the 2019 Tripawds Community Fund will fall short of its fundraising goal. Fear not, however, there is no cause for alarm. Not yet. Thanks to the ongoing support from recurring donation subscriptions created during previous annual fundraising campaigns, current assistance programs will continue – and expand in 2020.
The 2019 fundraising campaign has raised $18,638 of its $24,000 goal. This number does not include any remaining disbursements from Facebook fundraisers held over the past couple months. And when you factor in the recurring contributions from donor subscriptions dating back the the first fundraising campaign back in 2015, a total of more than $29,000 has been raised this year.
Recurring Contributions Make a Difference
So, the good news is that the foundation will be able to confidently maintain and expand current assistance programs in the coming year. The unfortunate news is that no new recurring donation subscriptions were created during the 2019 fundraising campaign. Recurring contributions are an easy way to help Tripawds on a monthly or annual basis. And as you can see, these numbers really add up to make a big difference in our fundraising results each year.
Fundraising Results, Program Expenses, and Projections
Donations totaling more than $29,000 include $18,638 raised through the 2019 Tripawds Community Fund campaign. How is this money being spent to help Tripawds and their people? Below is a breakdown of this year’s program expenses, with a glimpse at the year to come.
Tripawds Community Infrastructure
Hosting the Tripawds Blogs, discussion forums, live chat, and toll-free Tripawds Helpline all remained free thanks to contributions covering expenses costing more than $9,063.
In 2019 alone, 10 reimbursement grants for veterinary amputation surgery were awarded totaling $5,000 given away.
Maggie Moo Fund for Tripawd Rehab
This year alone, 21 rehab reimbursement grants were awarded, providing $3,116 given away for certified veterinary rehab evaluation and treatment for three legged dogs and cats.
These numbers do not include the numerous free pet amputation brochures sent to veternary clinics around the world to help those faced with difficult decisions about amputation for their pets.
Projected Expenses for 2020:
- Tripawds Community Infrastructure: $12,503
- Tripawds ASAP Fund: $12,000
- Maggie Moo Fund for Tripawd Rehab: $3,300
- Tripawds Gear Fund: $420
Did you notice that increase in the Tripawds ASAP fund? That’s right, thanks to your ongoing support, the $500 reimbursement grants for amputation surgery will be once again offered twice per month. The goal is to increase the amount of these grants, so your help is needed more than ever next year.
Stay tuned as we launch a new 2020 fundraising campaign. We’ll also be providing details about how you can ensure your recurring donations get attributed to the current year’s fundraising results. With your help, we can continue to help more Tripawds and their people everywhere.
Happy New Year!
