Each month, donors make it possible for us to send a bundle of goodies that helps take away some of the sadness away from a pet cancer diagnosis.
Thanks to our generous donors, collectors of paintings at Art4TripawdKaiserin, and generous winning bids from the annual Tripawds Dog Art Auction, this fund enables two Tripawds to receive a free virtual gift basket of goodies!
Meet Tripawd Kenai, Our Lucky Recipient!
Kenai, a five-year-old Malamute mix, recently received a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package, and it’s all thanks to donations that keep the Kaiserin Fund going strong.
His family appreciates the comfort and encouragement it brings as he continues healing after his front-leg amputation because of osteosarcoma.
Kenai’s gentle, joyful personality touches everyone he meets, from his veterinary team to the elementary school students who send him daily cards and follow his progress.

How old is your Tripawd?
5 years old
When and why did your Tripawd lose a leg?
October 2025. He had his front right leg amputated due to osteosarcoma.
What’s your pet’s personality like? What are some of your Tripawd’s favorite things to do?
He is the BESTEST BOY! He loves his 13-year old human sister Bria!
Being that he is a sled dog breed, he loves to run so this has been very hard on him. But it has not stopped him from opening wrapped packages in care boxes sent from his grandmother!
He is a general giant who captures everyone heart at first sight! Especially at his vet clinics and the cancer treatment center at Oregon State University school of veterinary medicine.
I work as a librarian at the local elementary school and all the students send him get well cards and ask about him daily.
It has given me the opportunity to educate them about canine cancer and amputation. They see daily pictures of him! Tripaws Facebook page and website have been a valuable treasure trove of information and support for not only Kenai but also for me as his momma.

Amputee pets with cancer in the U.S. or Canada can apply to receive a Kaiserin Pet Cancer Care Package.
Two Tripawds are selected each month on a first-come, first-served basis. The lucky recipients get a virtual basket of goodies worth about $175!
